So Billy decided on his RV over the weekend. It was lot lizard friendly and large enough that he has virtually no chance of successfully steering that monster down the highway. Its rumored that the slum lord who wanted to put up billboards on his properties is the one that is giving Bill the finances to purchases this mobile immorality station. If this is true, its fitting that he would get that kind of dirty money to buy his RV.

And as far as any beliefs I may have regarding my children, it is proven that the government (federal) does provide healthy subsidies to state governments for children who are placed in foster care and then adopted.
DeleteNow that might be a conspiracy theory, but when it is true is it still conspiracy? The foster care and adoption system in the states was revamped in the midf 90's due to these issues. To remove a child from a parent got to be a little more difficult on the state. I know that issues my ex and I have had now would have caused our child's removal from us back in the late 80's and early 90's but not so today. This is a direct result of changes made to the system.
I know I am not explaining this right but you had to follow the money. Adoptee parents would receive monthly stipends from the states, the states would receive payment from the federal government. If it could be determined that the child placed for adoption was special needs, the money would be even more for both.
That is just a plain cold hard fact.
So Anony, are you Jan Smith or are you just speaking for her? And can Jan Smith join every group but this one?

I researched laws and looked into budgets and monies received. I also spoke to adoptees that were placed through CPS and it is true. Now the state has a multitude of "minority" children but minority children are very hard to place. My children were blond haired blue eyed, thus much easier to place. Also if you go look at Florida CPS adoption website you will see for yourself that some of the children have right in their profiles that there are subsidies available.

But here's what I DO know. If it's one person or a HUNDRED people, that number is not even a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population on this planet. You watch the videos of the carnage and there are people running TOWARDS the destruction to help out. (Thanks FAKE Gallery founder and owner Paul Kozlowski for pointing this out to me). This is a giant planet and we're lucky to live on it but there are prices and penalties incurred for the daily miracle of existence. One of them is, every once in awhile, the wiring of a tiny sliver of the species gets snarled and they're pointed towards darkness.
But the vast majority stands against that darkness and, like white blood cells attacking a virus, they dilute and weaken and eventually wash away the evil doers and, more importantly, the damage they wreak. This is beyond religion or creed or nation. We would not be here if humanity were inherently evil. We'd have eaten ourselves alive long ago.
So when you spot violence, or bigotry, or intolerance or fear or just garden-variety misogyny, hatred or ignorance, just look it in the eye and think, "The good outnumber you, and we always will."

Some people adopt for the love of it and want children. Some do it to help out the general cause. Sometimes the burden to adopt a child and their health issues cost money. The states are not taking children just for numbers to put more money into foster programs or to fatten checks of the DHS workers. The adoption incentive plan works. I suggest you go to the site at the HHS site and look at the great numbers of foster children being adopted.

OT's decisions were made through a voting process, and only when consensus could be reached, did anything happen - whether it was to rent a 2nd or 3rd porta-pot for the camp, or what day, and where, we would next march (fyi - we had a number of elected officials march with us), or what working groups would be formed to, say, help people stave off foreclosures on their homes through fund-raising, negotiations with the mortgage holder, etc.

That's how I am, and I want to give others that benefit of the doubt.

Sean I could post some specifics of my case, but let me just say this. Two of my children died. The cause was researched and three experts came up with two answers. The one answer that counted put the family in a somewhat bad llight (not horrible because accidents do happen). The other cause would have been better for the family (well not really because two children were gone). But if the two experts (who stated the same thing and their opinion was different than the "state" expert), my child might have lived with me rather than being removed again and placed for adoption.

I had people telling me that my child was being paraded like a piece of meat for prospective adoptive parents to look at. Do I believe those people? Why would they tell me this? @ Sean: I agree - Bill is the front man, his job is to collect people - volunteers for the movement. But what Scheid is doing is not pointless or a waste of time for the movement. DeleteToday's events in Boston over shadowed news of the investigation into the TX DA's and ADA's murder. In case you have heard, there appears to be a suspect in custody, no connection to LA but some of the facts coming out will sound familiar. This why Bill, Scheid's & Roland's thinking scares the crap out of me.
The apparent suspect was the Justice of the Peace in Kaufman County. He is a member of one of the Texas militia's, The Texas Guard, I think. He was prosecuted by the DA & ADA last year for theft of county property (IT equipment). The man said the DA's prosecution of the theft was politically motivated. He was found guilty, sentenced to 2 years probation and lost his law licenses.
After the ADA was murdered, the DA named this man to LE as a suspect. After the DA and his wife were murdered, threatening e-mails were sent to staff in the DA's office. The e-mails were traced back to the man, which gave LE probable cause for search warrants. LE found 20 guns and a Crown Vic the man bought with a fake name in a storage unit.

Some states take advantage of federal funds for child welfare the same way they do for highways or bridges. It's not corruption, it just the way the system works. And the system probably needs to be changed if it isn't working the way it should - but the people trying to change it are fighting the right battle for all the wrong reasons.

I have a suitcase full of documents showing that even when it is reported it gets ignored. Nine years worth of this. Some of the AMPP's have appeals cases to state and federal appeals courts regarding reporting of abuse. Holly Collins is a screwup case and did not really happen? How about Lechtenberg (sp?) or Katie Eaton with Little Wyatt?
DeleteJust so you know I HAVE reported the abuse. I DO report all of the crimes. I have a protection order. CPS is involved and has been involved almost non-stop from day one. We seldom have a break from being an active open CPS case and it has been that way for almost 9 years now. But again do I think this is some huge conspiracy with thousands involved? No. I think there are some really awful players in this case, some people with power trip egos, and some lazy people too. Sadly my child is suffering because these people can't seem to get there act together. We are talking about a very intelligent pre-teen who blames the victim of dv when discussing our abuser, yet for all other abusers, they are evil. Why do you think that is? Because our abuser has gotten away with it so many times, we have complained and filed reports (both of us) and they all get dropped.

I have never said it is a huge conspiracy. I think the adoption subsidy thing needs to be investigated because it is ripe for fraud. I also think there are some rogue cops playing hero and they are on a power trip. I also think there are some really lazy government workers out there. As far as dv and sex abuse victims faring badly in divorce/custody court, I do see the experts trying to keep the cases going. It is simple math. You have cases (clients), you have money. The more clients, the more money. You close cases out, you have less money. less money means, well you might have to get a real job?

Listen sean. I used to work in this system so I have every right to speak up. Can't say the same for you unless YOU actually have worked in the courts. NO there's no grand conspiracy and YES foster families do and should be compensated for their time. I've seen many wonderful foster families. Most have big hearts, some don't and are monsters.
There's lazy workers, ones with no heart and the rest are tired. They're sick of hearing the same story over and over and put the rest of the real abused people on ignore LARGE IN PART because of what the false accusers like Loryn and Bedwell have done and continue to do to the courts. There is a small fraction in the courts THAT DO get paid & favors are done. You seem to think you live in some perfect world where NONE of this exist. I don't believe it exists nearly to the level many speak of but it does exist.
The little asshole that was just given 10 years for aggravated robbery, possession of guns and illegal drugs across our street was sentenced last year and is already out. Um his daddy is the local sheriff in another County. NOT hard to figure out why his little brat who has 3 felony's is already out. There's the conspiracy - at the basic level.

DeleteHow do you know that I haven't been in an abusive relationship but chose not to be? How do you know that the relationship did not produce a child but I managed to get rid of the abuser and take care of the child so that the state did not need to be involved in the child's welfare?
With few exceptions: If women would quit depending on men for their financial and emotional welfare, DV wouldn't be an issue. If parents would focus on the welfare of their children instead of their own emotional agendas, CPS wouldn't be involved in their lives.
I do not understand women that choose victim-hood over freedom and independence and I never will. Now, go ahead - true to victim form, get all defensive so you can justify being a victim, blast me with all the things I don't understand about the problems women continue to create for themselves. In the mean time here's how I think DV should be handled: if a man hits a woman, he should be a dead MOFO when she gets up off the floor.
Before you blast me though, remember this isn't a cause page. I don't have to agree with you or sympathize with you. However, I do have empathy - I feel sorry for women that believe they have be victims.
And with some of what you say, I agree. As I stated, some tings I would change. No man will EVER hit me again. EVER. That is all I will say on that issue.

I have supported several victims of DV, I was not an uninvolved bystander. In fact, several of the abusers showed up on my door step in response to my assisting their "victims" (don't worry, I'm bully and abuser proof, they didn't scare me off). One abuser actually told me he didn't like it that I was teaching his wife to be independent. He was so mad he was spitting when he spoke, his fists were balled up, he wanted to hit me. I got in his face and dared him to hit me. He kicked my dog in the head instead. I did not call the cops out of fear for what he would do to his wife. His wife divorced him after he pushed her through a wall and broke her shoulder, 5 years later.
My position in this matter is colored the fact that ALL of the "victims" either stayed in the situation by CHOICE when other options were available or left the situation they complained about and had several more relationships that were just as bad, if not worse. Bystanders can do nothing when women exercise their free will and choose to be in a relationship with a man that is abusive.
Bottom line: I quit getting involved because I was tired of women complaining about the CHOICES THEY MAKE, the situations they created for themselves and their refusal to do anything to help themselves.
@NBDT When one of your daughters/ sisters/ or grandchildren gets beaten, raped, or murdered remember your words. May they bite you in the ass! "You women are only "victims" because you CHOOSE to be."

He assumes that since we stood up for allie against Bill's attack, that means we are also active in her custody court case, or that we are working with the AMPP or any of these groups. It really seems to not be able to penetrate his skull that we are not about any of that and we are not going to be covering it...PERIOD.
Number of posts (out of hundreds and hundreds of them) that have dealt with mothers rights/fathers rights issues, custody issues, family court issues=0 and it always will be 0, if you dont like it well its a free internet

I absolutely loved my time in Chicago and I didn't have any problems getting where I needed to go (even as female when I traveled alone) because they have wonderful public transportation. ReplyDeleteSome of my story as yappy says is online in papers - real actual mainstream media newspapers and it was covered on real live mainstream media tv news as well. Do I think I am someone special? No and I appreciate the honor yaps has given me. I am just a person, a person who has made mistakes, some worse than others, but mistakes all the same. Do I wish I could change some of them? Yes I do but then I think I would not be who I am today if anything was different. Do I miss my children? With every ounce I do. I do not understand women who refuse any type of contact at all with their children. But I guess that comes from my losses that very few on here would ever get.
Now I will explain this one time and be nice this time, again apologies to everyone and to you Sean. No excuse for my nastiness to you, you do not know me.
My child is not being physically abused, but the things happening are horrible in their own right. Can you imagine being a young child and seeing your parent be arrested, your other parent has no clue and you know you need to be with the other parent? Can you imagine the love the mother and child have for each other being ripped to shreds by the other parent? And for years and years, not just a few days or months. It has been almost a decade of this type of emotional abuse. And yes I am human.
As far as physical abuse, there is none to the child (that I know of and even if there was I would not be privy to it because the father has ingrained in the child's head that I want to take child away from him). To me is a different story. Now before you go all cuckoo and say oh here we go hollering abuse, this man has pulled a knife on me twice, he has held a gun to my head, he has tried to destroy my relationship with our child. He has told lies about me to the child and to many others about the facts surrounding my children's deaths. I share that with everyone in my life, but you must be in my life. Yappy and Petunia are privvy to it even though they are not technically in my life, we have shared emails and I do hope one day to meet our yaps and alpaca extraordinaire. I hope they feel the same way. I have not met some of the AMPP moms like L or C, but I know one day I will.
This man hasd also stalked me (Him: what are you doing staying on XXXX Road - who lives there, Me: Where on XXX Road? XXX Road is very long. Him: you know where I am talking about B****. You are there everytime XXX (our child) is with me. Me: Why do you care where I am when XXX (our child) is with you? Why don't you spend time with XXX (our child) instead of stalking me?
He harasses anyone who would help me (calls to my ex-boyfriend - ex because he could not take the bs anymore and he also realized it would only be a matter of time before he hurt this abuser, calls to my best friend, calls to complete strangers I met through various online groups and those people went on to bash me in the groups, he has managed to turn MY entire family against me and more). When he was beating me (three instances - yes it took me three times to leave because I thought maybe if I was nicer, maybe if I did this or didn't do that) everyone was all over me to leave him. When I did and he escalated into knives and guns etc etc and then into the terroristic bs, they got tired of it and kept arguing with me, just send the child to him, blah blah blah. If I don;t want to be around him because he is abusive and our child at 5 is coming home calling me a b*** and a c*** and telling me I am not the boss daddy says so, and punching me, kicking me, biting me, pulling my hair? Yeah something is wrong there.
ReplyDeleteIt is as AMPP has stated above, you do not understand the mindset of a true abuser. And women who claim abuse when there is none and women who exaggerate abuse to make it seem bad, well I have no time for those. I just go about what I do. Not a day goes by that I don't make some sort of call or do something to try to bring to light DV issues.
My child is doing much better - four separate times with a therapist, and numerous workers who do care talking to both of us have helped my child see that quite possibly daddy is messed up. If you could hear the phone conversations and the guilt trips he lays on this child. And sadly even though I love this child more than anything, I am not equipped to counter act the emotional abuse. I need help with it and sadly having very little money leaves me little options. I have to rely on the state and wait for these CPS investigations to be opened. And each time one is opened, I hope and pray that I will say or do the right thing in order to get my child and I the help we both so desperately need.
Until then I get the day to day things done, I get my child to school, I try to spend time with her in a safe and healthy way, and anytime something from the abuser rears its ugly head, I deal with it at the time. Through the last near decade that has been one thing I have learned, I do NOT let his actions control our lives as much as I possibly can. We have our life, he has his. And when our child asks me a question I answer it honestly now. The latest question was this - Mom why didn't you change your last name from mine and daddys name? I told her honestly - I did not do that because I know that your dad told your older half brother that his mom was not his mom anymore because her name was different from his. My child says - well if you want to go back to your old name you can because I am old enough to know that you ARE my mom and nothing he says will change that.
So yeah one tiny battle at a time and my child will learn. I try to balance honesty with not tearing him down, something he cannot say he has done. Where else would a 5 year old come home calling me b**** and c***? Daycare? Nah don't think so.
