  3. I'll eat crow, and say I was WRONG in the predictions of the outcome.

On all 4 counts, he's gone for a LONG time.

@ Jimmy: thank you re: "I'll eat crow". That was a stand up thing to say.

    2. I guess I was just hoping that the child was never raped by him. Didn't hear the drama or see the gestures language etc.

      Joey Dauben is now a:

      Convicted FELON

who was just convicted of 4 more FELONIES!

3 of the felonies are 2nd degree felonies
1 of the felonies are a 3rd degree felony.

The 2nd degree felonies are punishable by UP TO 20 years each.
The 3rd degree felony is punishable by UP to 10 years.

Each 2nd and 3rd degree felony states "No less than 2 years".

      At a minimum, I think he'll get 8 years.

      But I really think 15-20.

      Wow.

    3. You were hoping the child wasn't raped? But what gave you the right to keep calling the kid a liar? He IS a rape victim and you cannot see how your words could hurt him deeply IF he reads this blog. I don't think you really ate any crow Jimmy.

    4. I didn't call him a liar. I said Bruce's statements could paint him as a liar to the Jury.

It was 100% about trial... and I said that "I'm not saying Joey didn't do it".

Look, I'm just reading text of the internet man. I was not present at the trial... I don't know all the details.

I thought it would get tossed. I was WRONG and fully eat crow on that.

The jury, court, etc., all heard the evidence. 12 people said he was guilty.... He's guilty.

    5. Yappy, also

If the victim reads the blog, he'll see me say I ate crow.

Victim: I eat crow. I was wrong on the predictions and just judging the case from what I read off the internet. Sorry that monstrous thing happened to you.

  4. Truth is a beautiful thing!! Glad the Jury didn't fall prey to the delusions of the Daubinista theory.

Wonder what the pie guy thinks about his name being linked to a now, convicted abuser...(hummm pie boy...me thinkest you need to get your head out of your pie-ass.)

  5. No one in Joey's life had enough COURAGE to convince this monster to take the plea. He single-handedly destroyed his own life but he'll never understand what real accountability is - he will never accept responsibility and his life will be based on blaming everyone BUT himself for this outcome and ending.

He is guilty, there's no question about it.

    1. Now he'll probably spend those 10 years of probation behind bars, and that's if he's lucky to not spend 10 years behind bars with 10 years parole after that. ++ registered sex offender.

If he survives prison. This is not good for Joey at all.
When he gets out he'll be a 5 time felon and a registered sex offender. Jobs won't be good.

  6. Jimmy, considering Joey is 30+ and has never held down a real job, employment post-prison is the least of his concerns. He needs to be concerned with survival now. The other inmates will find out soon enough that he is a "chomo" and they REALLY like chomos!

Personally, I'm going to Hastings tomorrow to rent "Scared Straight" and am going to watch all the "Lock Up" on MSNBC I can this weekend. An absolutely glorius day!

  7. Man! What I wouldn't give for video of the trial. I could watch that over and over. I'd love to have seen the look on Joey's face when the guilty verdict was returned.

Well, since Joey used to brag how he was so much smarter than any attorney in town, he can work on his appeal in prison. Of course he'll probably have to do a "personal favor" to get a pencil.
