They may have been mildly amused at first, but as Bill continues to spend all this time going after his made up haters, some of the followers are growing tired of the never ending tail-chasing Bill is engaged in. They signed up for a movie, or a cause they thought was about changing the legal system. Instead, it seems they are followers of an old man who happens to be a drama king.
Now Bill prepares to go back on the road for what he calls filming, but it really looks like an escape from his local problems with Maid of the Mist and a scouting trip to go do research on his "haters". No more talkshoe lectures, haven't even heard much about the little citizen grand jury stunt and certainly no word on his fake movie. They are starting to feel that they are hopelessly adrift at sea, and the only movement seems to be from the daily wind direction and nothing more. You can start to see their frustrations coming out in the comments to Bill:

"Pork Barrel" type legal action from a VL. I imagine the judge will say most of it is inadmissable and has no merit to this case. He is not on trial and doesn't get to put others on trial, especially without notice. He is summoned to that state because of his abuse towards Allie. But neither you, nor I, nor BW live in MO, so how could he have any ability to subpeona us for anything alleged against him? What say you, Attorney?

DeleteThat's entirely a matter of Missouri law and court procedure—and, probably, of the judge's discretion. I know little to nothing about the impact of any of these, except that it appears from other comments on this thread that the judge is already getting accustomed to denying absurd filings from Bill Windsor.
Windsor would probably have a better career win-loss record if he didn't consistently telegraph his vexatious looniness weeks before he even sets foot in the courthouse. Missouri law still says what it says (and as a result, maybe he is legally entitled to subpoena power of some kind... or maybe not, I don't know), but if there's any gray area, it seems very unlikely that the judge will give Windsor the benefit of any doubt. If the law and procedural rules provide the judge with any discretion—and they very likely give him/her plenty—it's hard to imagine that discretion being exercised to benefit an unlicensed wannabe-lawyer loudmouth who has already deluged the court with frivolous, legally baseless, and generally incoherent filings. (And if/when the judge sees what prior courts have had to say about Windsor and these tactics of his, it's only going to get worse for him.)

That isn't likely to have any effect. Again, perhaps Missouri law says otherwise—though in this case I doubt it—but generally, as long as one is allowed to act as counsel in a case, one has just as much subpoena power as any party who's represented by licensed counsel. As a party representing himself pro se, I doubt that Windsor's subpoenas are any less effective than they would be if he hired an attorney who sent out the same subpoenas.
I'd say the most optimistic sign about the upcoming proceeding is that the judge has already (and summarily) denied Windsor's motions. That suggests that the judge is now aware of Windsor's penchant for vexatious nonsense, and (s)he isn't interested in humoring him. Advantage: Overstreet.
thanks for your thoughts on this. And yeah, I agree, I dont think he is going to get any where with this nor am I even slightly worried about it. I'm just trying to get an idea of what he thinks he is doing. Maybe he is treating this as a fishing expedition. Turn it into a "trial", represent yourself and send out a ton of subpoena's and hope someone actually responds.

My Motion for Continuance to obtain discovery was denied. My Motion to Vacate the Order of Protection was denied. My Motion to Film the proceedings was denied. My Request for a Jury Trial was denied. Other than that, I'm doing great.
There's a strong odor coming from Missouri....
I have been accused of buying a gun to use on a group of people. There's also a report that a judge in Santa Clara California says I have threatened many people with a gun and I am a terrorist. The judge apparently read about it in Allie Overstreet's petition.
The "trial" of Bill Windsor is set for 1 pm on April 8, 2013 in Lafayette Hall, 1001 Main Street, Lexington, Missouri before Judge John Frerking.
I will be available by telephone at 770-578-1094 from 10 am to 5 pm on April 6 and 7 as I drive. So if you need to speak with me, here's your chance. If there's no answer, please call back as that will mean I am on the phone with someone else.
I received an anonymous email tonight from KillBill@yahoo.com -- same IP address of Sean Boushie. Sean Boushie has posted a message saying he will be at the Missouri hearing as Alley's bodyguard. Here's the message: "Bite me you fat fuck!!!! You are a worthles spineless coward who only has the balls to attack a woman. Come after me and see how much fun you have. Did I mention, fuck you asshole??"
I also received a message from someone I know tonight saying that they have information that will cause me to fear for my safety. I was told this information needs to be communicated to the police. I will be speaking with folks about this tomorrow.

If somebody else were able to quietly cull the most clear cut stories of obvious and blantant corruption to be the "poster stories," if somebody could truly lead and unite and focus a group, if somebody could be professional and dignified and lend credibility to the movement . . if if if.

ReplyDeleteOh Billy, we have been over this before. First, the press does not become the story...but since you love talking about yourself, and your website is purely the world according to you- I'll skip on past that.
Next, because you are self identifying as press, you are now able to be commented on, and talked about in any non-violent way I want. Think about how people talk about certain news organizations and the names they call individual reporters. There is one guy in particular that takes a real beating on Yahoo- and there is nothing he can do but take it or quit LOL. Not that I think you rise to the level of actual reporter, but hey you keep saying you are one.
Finally- the internet is a public place. It is indeed open 24/7. If you want to block someone's IP from your own website- do it. But as long as you are not members only, or blocking the person's IP you can't stop anyone from reading there. You are more than welcome to stop them from commenting ON your website, but other than that dude, you are writing and spewing for the world to see.
Since you are at that level, you may want to close your eyes so no one can see you. Yeah, that will work. I've just consulted with a 2 year old who tells me it makes you invisible.
