So it turns out its much worse than we ever thought. The love of Presley Dauben's life is a monster. The testimony revealed today that the boy was a virgin, was given liquor by Joey and then taken out on a raft and then to the shower. As we also speculated there were messages between Joey and the boy afterwards that indicate they had a sexual relationship. He described in great detail (as I said earlier would be critical) exactly what happened in the shower. The boy told a girl about it the next day but it wasn't until a year later that he told another girl about it that she believed him and reported it. The boy didn't want to testify initially because he felt it was somehow his fault. He had trouble taking a shower and became angry afterwards. Joey even gave the kid his business card.
And then we have the defense in cross-examination.
Under cross examination, Dauben’s attorney asked if the boy had ever heard the expression “I hear my bed calling me,” or similar things, but the boy said he hadn’t. this was in reference to a text message joey sent after the incident where he said he heard his shower calling him
Also under cross examination, he was asked if he’d been forced to stay and drink with Dauben, or to go out on the raft, or even to go into the showers with his alleged molester.
“No one forced me,” the boy testified.
Wow, so to sum up: Joey doesn't have a defense. He most certainly did it, he is a monster and all his followers now have a 666 mark on their forehead for sticking with him. Ohhh Presley how indescribably stupid you must feel at this point. Forever you will be know as this monster's other half, that now is your online legacy.
Now having heard the story from the boy, and this is the first time I have ever even hinted at this...this was not Joey's first sexual assault of a boy, this was just the first time someone reported it. If you take the way he gave the kid some alcohol, took him out on the boat to talk about sex and then back to the shower to initial sex acts, clearly this wasn't two curious boys experimenting as I often speculated. This was a cold calculating pedophile preying on young boys.

He was framed by the probation officer and the preacher who used this supposed victim to get back at Joey. And the dumb judge bought the nonsense. If Joey had had a better lawyer, the case would have been thrown out before it started.

Yea I'm all for hearing a context for something like that, but now that I have heard it I don't buy that explanation for a second. Unless there were many other comments in between the first one where the boy says that's awesome to Joey's lets get together I hear a shower calling me. It it really happened like that, then he meant he wanted to rape the boy again, no question whatsoever.

@ Jimmy: if the attorney is too rough on the victim, he will risk turning the jury against Joey, more than the testimony did. This was probably a lot more emotional for the boy than anybody can put into words. The attorney would look like a villain if it appeared he was attacking the boy.

Joey is toast, after today, and will most likely to be a resident of the prison system for a very long time. Add to that a mysterious disappearing father, and I see possible future charges, plus one very nasty civil suit headed his way.

Joey's done. Cooked. Goner. Wave buh-bye to the almighty Yahweh as he takes the stand tomorrow to try and prove he's smarter than the rest of 'em. He's not. If we're lucky, he'll break out in one last song and dance, and they'll throw him out of his own trial. Not that it'll matter one bit. He needs to save his voice for the prison blues.

He will come out and be a stone cold lifer, and will sure enough never be anything. Who would hire a child molester? I have doubts as to whether he will be sane or even make it out of TDCJ. If he makes it out, I expect he will repeat offend and will go right back in. If not a repeat offender, he will do something to violate his parole. Watch and see.
What about the over 800,000 domain names he was put in as a frontman for? Does anyone else think there is something more to some of those names being part of some child porn ring?

DeleteMath may not be my forte, but 800,000 domain names at a bargain price of $8.99 each on godaddy.com (where he registered those domains) is over $7 million. No way he was in on that alone. While we know many of them were pay-per-click scams, Anon makes a very good point: were these sites back doors to a "ring" of sorts? And would that also explain why his sites have been seized, well beyond the Red Oaks fiasco?
ReplyDeleteRead up on Jeff Baron. Jeff owned the domain names, Joey was paid a monthly fee to have them registered in his name so that Jeff could avoid law suits. Joey signed a waiver on the sites in settlement of a law suit filed by Jeff's partner.
